I just think it’s important to notice how Grantaire’s eyes go from Enjolras’ face to Enjolras’ exposed and manly collarbone
GOD BLESS GEORGE BLAGDEN’S ACTING
hair is not permanent. baths will make u sleepy and so will lotion. if u aren’t up for school don’t fucking go. u don’t need to explain urself. it’s ok to give in to societies expectations sometimes. girl sweat is a gift from whatever the fuck u believe in. just bcause u can, doesn’t mean u should. bring food with u everywhere and don’t hesitate to eat it. ur aren’t as bloated as u think u r. write things on ur hands.
Feuilly doesn’t even mean to be hipster but everyone assumes he is. He gets his clothes from charity shops because they’re cheap, not because they’re edgy fashion, and getting an oversized coat for £3 is a bargain, not a fashion choice. He genuinely needs glasses but has had the same pair since he was 17, and yes, the lenses might be big, but he needs them to see and he’s not just poked the lenses out of a pair of 3D cinema glasses.
When he meets Enjolras, they have the exact same fashion taste. Enjolras, obviously, is a Genuine Certified Hipster, sat in Starbucks with his macbook and his extra-coffee-shot-vanilla-latte-with-skimmed-milk, and Feuilly goes into the coffee shop to meet Bahorel. That’s how they meet, and Enjolras lives for three months believing that Feuilly is a total hipster when actually he just convenience-buys everything.
He’s featured on Bahorel’s instagram a lot because Bahorel and Jehan both think it’s hi-la-ri-ous how many notes the pictures of their ‘fashionable hipster friend’ get.
When he can get Feuilly and Enjolras on the same picture he gets messages from hipster fashion blogs asking if they can use the picture.
Courfeyrac doesn’t understand how Feuilly does it and pouts a lot whenever someone compliments him on his sweaters (Feuilly just doesn’t understand. He likes big cozy sweaters because he gets cold a lot, so what?)
he also likes buying old items and tinkering with them in his spare time. even his apartment is hipster heaven.
accidental hipster feuilly is perfect
this is so perfect oh my god
thank you so muc H omg
one of my favourite things about les mis is how is respectfully preserves history and how that even survived into the 2012 film
in 1832 a now-unknown and anonymous student grabbed a red flag and ran into lamarque’s funeral procession to stop everything
